Thieves recently broke into a house in Leask Street in Meyerville and stole a plasma television and jewellery.
They broke both the security gate and the door to gain entry.
The owners of the house were away when the incident occurred.
Three houses were also broken into in Kosmospark the same day.
Kasselman Security Services suspects that the same burglars were involved.
They suspect that the criminals travel in different getaway vehicles.
According to Kasselman, a woman in Kosmospark saw a silver BMW parked outside one of the residences.
She said the thieves went to the premises and tried to break in, but ran away when they noticed her watching.
