eMBALENHLE – Ten men were arrested for a robbery at a tavern in Extension 2 recently.
According to the police, they stole an undisclosed amount of money, cigarettes, airtime and cell phones.
The robbers were between 18 and 38 years old.
Nine were allegedly Lesotho foreign nationals and one a South African.
They appeared in the Evander Magistrate’s Court on 17 May and their case was postponed for further investigation.
Capt Magonseni Nkosi, police spokesman, said part of the investigation is to verify whether the men could be linked to other crimes.
