Two suspects were recently arrested in Sakhile for possession of suspected stolen property.
The police received a tip-off about these men while patrolling in Shivovo Section.
They arrived at the address and found two men of which one escaped. A police officer chased him with the help of some community members.
The officer and the community members managed to catch him.
The police found a generator and a cooler bag.
According to them, the suspects admitted that they stole the goods after questioning.
They also went to the other suspect’s home and found a gas stove.
The police said the suspect admitted to stealing it from the same place as the other goods. They were apprehended and taken to the Sakhile Police Station.
A case of possession of suspected stolen property was opened.
