Jovri “Superman” Cox saves the day

Everything happened so fast that the emergency crew only realised Jovri was dressed in a Superman onesie after an arrest was made.

SECUNDA – Were is not for the brave antics of Mr Jovri Cox early Saturday morning, more homes could have been burgled and dogs poisoned.

He tackled a burglar in the street who he tried to run away.

Mr Cox is the friend of Mr Shane van den Heever from Langamed South Ambulance Services’ daughter.

Emergency services and the police rushed to the scene after a distress call from Mr Van den Heever about a break-in.

The suspect tried to break loose, but Mr Cox had him in a tight grip and the police and members of the CPF apprehended the suspect.

The burglar carried a tin of 2-step poison that is usually fed to dogs in order to kill them.

The emergency crew only realised that Mr Cox was dressed in a Superman onesie after they have arrested the suspect.

They all agreed that Superman had saved the day.
