
HIGHVELD: Earlier today at around 4am, information regarding firearms were followed by members of SANEB, CI Secunda and Bethal.
A search warrant was executed whereby balaclavas, hand gloves, a woman police bullet proof vest, a fidelity guard bullet proof vest and two packets of uncut diamonds were found in the main bedroom.
In the ground room, five pistols, seven magazines, two police field dress trousers as well as two ladies’ police shirts were found.
A 28-year-old man was arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms and precious metals.
The suspect will appear before Bethal Magistrate Court today.
