Ease your reading experience
Our newspaper has been redesigned with you the reader in mind.

We decided to publish the following instructions again to help ease your reading experience.
Our newspaper has been redesigned with you the reader in mind.
We want to make your reading experience an enjoyable one and therefore want to give you a brief rundown on how the design was simplified.
The newspaper has been divided into different news segments.
Throughout the newspaper these segments will be used.
We frequently receive lost objects and have therefore included a lost and found segment where people can view these items.
Another addition to the newspaper is our follow-up markers.
Are you looking for a follow-up story? Search for these markers to see which stories have been updated.
Often space in the newspaper became limited and we were unable to publish all the photos or stories we would have liked to.

It is for this reason we decided to create a call to action ‘button’ to inform our readers that more content or photos are accessible online at www.standertonadvertiser.co.za.
This ‘button’ in the form of a ‘W’-sign (website) will be clearly visible at the bottom of articles.
Because your feedback on stories on our Standerton Advertiser Facebook Page is important to us, we will also publish some of the top comments.
Look out for the ‘f’-sign (Facebook) which will indicate our facebook users’ comments below an article.
Technology is developing at a staggering rate, but unfortunately publishing videos in our newspaper is still beyond our capability.
Standerton Advertiser does however possess its own YouTube channel where you can find a variety of videos taken by our journalists who attend various scenes.
Look out for ‘yt’-sign (Youtube) underneath articles and visit our website or YouTube channel to view the video.
Please feel free to send your feedback and suggestions to us at editor@stadvertiser.co.za
Happy reading!
