
eMBALENHLE – Three men are expected to appear in the Evander Magistrate’s Court soon after the murder of a 34-year-old man on Saturday.
The victim was visiting a tavern in Ext 22 where he was attacked by a group of people who came from a taxi that was parked outside the tavern.
Capt Magonseni Nkosi, police spokesman, said: “According to information that we have received, the victim was assaulted and thereafter shot twice, once in the forehead and once in the right arm.
“He also had bruises all over the body.”
After the incident, the taxi drove off.
Preliminary investigations led to the arrest of three men aged between 23 and 30 years old.
