The 28-year-old Mr Younus Hadjee died on the R23 Road after his vehicle overturned earlier today.

According to the Standerton Police, Mr Hadjee was travelling alone when the accident occurred.

“We suspect that he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned,” Capt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer of the Standerton Police, said.

Capt Nhlabathi also said Mr Hadjee died on the scene and his family has been notified of his death.

A case of culpable homicide has been opened.
