CIPC educational exhibition to benefit local entrepreneurs
It will illustrate the latest means of technology to gain easy access to services.

eMBALENHLE – The Companies Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a member of the Department of Trade and Industry Group, invites locals to attend an exhibition on Thursday, 26 January that will inform the public how to register their businesses and other intellectual property.
It will also illustrate the latest means of technology to gain easy access to services.
Ms Tshiamo Zebediela, communication specialist, said among others, the campaign seeks to increase the ease of doing business in South Africa through the provision of easier, faster and value-adding registration services, improve the reliability and integrity of information in the CIPC’s registries, promote good governance and credible business conduct that respects and protects the rights of shareholders and IP rights holders, enhance the CIPC’s role in the promotion of innovation and creativity in South Africa and increase accessibility and relevance of the CIPC’s services through partnerships with both private and private sector institutions and through ongoing product, service and solution innovation.
Ms Zebediela said customers will be shown how accessible and easy it is to transact with CIPC.
“We will look at common mistakes done by customers when they send their applications through to CIPC for approval, as well as how to register a new company other than using online service.
“Technical queries will be noted and feedback will be provided the next week.”
