A flash flood wreaked havoc when it hit Standerton again on 5 February.

Businesses in Krogh Street were mostly affected by the flash flood.

It also damaged shacks in an informal settlement in Ext 6, leaving residents stranded.

A similar incident occurred on 13 January, causing damage to businesses and municipal infrastructure.
