Mpumalanga Fashion and Design Week launches in February
The organisers said the event is aimed at developing local models and designers by exposing them to international standards of the fashion and designing industry.
SECUNDA – AMM Fashion Investments will launch the Mpumalanga Fashion and Design Week at Lake Umuzi Basement Theatre on 25 February.
The event takes place from 6pm to 9pm and entrance is R150 and R300 for VIPs that include complementary drinks and snacks.
The organisers said the event is aimed at developing local models and designers by exposing them to international standards of the fashion and designing industry.
Mr Samuel Marema, founder, said this is also his way of giving back to the community and to showcase to the world that Mpumalanga has talent and can host big events.
He said designers from countries such as Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Tanzania will take part in the event.
“I am calling on locals to support us, because this will be the first of its kind in Secunda.
“We promise to deliver international standards and excellency.”
Mr Marema thanked his partners and sponsors, including Noeline’s Guest House, for their contributions to the planning of this event.
