ETA donates uniforms

The purpose of the donations is to thank the community and repay them for supporting the local ETA members.

The Ermelo Taxi Association (ETA) donated 26 school uniforms to deserving children of the New Ermelo Primary School, Nyibe campus last Friday.

Executive members of ETA, Mr M.S. Nhlabathi (DC chairman), Ms V.N. Mahlangu (secretary) and Mr J.D. Ndwandwe (vice-secretary), together with members of ETA handed out the uniforms to the excited recipients.

Previously the association donated school uniforms to 10 children at New Ermelo (Quambile) and 10 uniforms to children at Peter Mabuza Primary School.

The donations came after the occasion of the opening of the new offices of the ETA at the local taxi rank at which the executive mayor, Mr Sipho Bongwe, members of the community and people living with disability were present.

On this occasion, the ETA also donated blankets and food parcels to grandparents and disabled persons.

The purpose of the donations is to thank the community and repay them for supporting the local ETA members.
