BREAKING NEWS: Anglo American sells coal operations to Seriti
Seriti has provided for the participation of employees and communities in its shareholding structure.
Anglo American announced today the sale of Eskom-tied domestic thermal coal operations to a wholly owned subsidiary of Seriti Resources Holdings Proprietary Limited (Seriti).
Seriti will take over the management of the Kriel, New Denmark and New Vaal Collieries to be among others the second biggest supplier to Eskom.
Seriti, a majority black-owned and controlled South African mining company, has provided for the participation of employees and communities in its shareholding structure.
