Force Ten to comes to Thuto-Lesedi Pre School’s rescue

The school receives funding from the Department of Social Development, but have not received anything since the employees of the department are on strike.

Force Ten Social Club donated groceries to Thuto-Lesedi Pre-School on 17 April after thieves recently broke in and stole most of their provisions.

The school was without food for the toddlers after the incident.

According to Ms Thoko Ndhlovu, Sizanani Pre-School and Thuto-Lesedi Pre-School adviser, the thieves broke the door of one of the classrooms to gain entry on 11 April.

“After gaining entry to the classroom, they broke the asbestos wall to gain entry to the office where the groceries were kept,” Ms Ndhlovu said.

The school receives funding from the Department of Social Development, but have not received anything since the employees of the department are on strike.

“We can not make any submissions to the department because of the strike,” Ms Ndhlovu also said.

Ms Ndhlovu and Ms Patricia Mazibuko of Thuto-Lesedi Pre-School thanked Force Ten for their contribution.
