NOT FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS: Cow dies in water channel, residents help themselves to meat

Residents helped themselves to the meat of a cow that died and ended up in a water channel in Taljaard Street.

Water streams down the channel and a source said that eating the meat presents possible health risks.

The Lekwa Municipality was informed to remove the carcass from the channel.
