A Rastafarian has launched a complaint against police officers who allegedly assaulted his children and demanded that they show them where he had hidden his dagga.
Mr Vusi Mpanza was at work in Durban when he received word that his children were being assaulted by officers on Friday, 12 January.
He said officers stormed his house at about 11 pm, jumped the fence and kicked open doors and accused the family of dealing with dagga.
He alleged that his children were severely tortured by police officers for something they knew nothing about.
He said police officers assaulted, handcuffed and sprayed the children with pepper spray and ordered them to show them the dagga.
