[UPDATE] Police identify victims of fatal accident between Secunda and Evander on 14 April
Spokesman says nothing indicates drag race at this stage.

EVANDER – Sgt Sibusiso Mbuli, spokesman of Evander Police, confirmed that the two people killed in a car accident close to the entrance to Unicor Dam on Saturday, 14 April are Ms Cindy Coetzee and Mr A. Memakwarani.
Ms Coetzee was travelling in a Tuscon towards Evander with her husband and son while Mr Memakwarani was the passenger in a BMW that was travelling in the opposite direction. The BMW drove over the middle man and collided head-on with the Tuscon.
Sgt Mbuli said the police are investigating a case of culpable homicide. “However, nothing at this stage in our investigation indicates that there was a second BMW involved or that there was a drag race between the BMW involved in the accident and another vehicle.”
He said detectives will complete their investigation before making any unfounded statements.
