Only two learners attend school today at Roodebank Combined School

“We are calling on the Department of Education to intervene because the circuit has failed us."

eMBALENHLE – Disgruntled parents of Roodebank Combined School stopped learners from going to school to following allegations of bullying and unfairness by the acting principal.

This came after one of the learners was captured in a video telling parents about bullying at the school.

The learners also told parents that two teachers fought in the classroom in their presence recently.

It is alleged that the biggest problem in the school is that about three teachers are fighting for the principal’s position.

“The teachers are fighting among each other in the presence of the learners and the learners are now also fighting each other.

“We tried to intervene and called a meeting, but I was assaulted by one of the teachers during the meeting.

“We are calling on the Department of Education to intervene because the circuit has failed us,” said one of the parents.
