Build a Woman event spreads to other provinces

eMBALENHLE – Forgy Mokalapa Events of Honor will be hosting the third annual women empowerment event on Saturday 25 August at the Baptist Extension Church in Extension 4.

This event will also take place in Ketlahong on 4 August, in Pretoria on 11 August, in Lebowakgomo on 18 August and then in eMbalenhle.

Sibulele Gcilitshana, an actress and theatre director, the 25-year-old masters graduate and economic analyst, Ntombi Mbele, Tshepo Mazibuko, founder and director of K1 Recycling Solutions, and Pastor Mpho Mathebula will take part in the event.

Forgy Mokalapa said: “Our speakers are always ordinary people doing amazing things and leading purpose-filled lives.

“We are very honoured to have the individuals we have as our speakers and we can not wait for the attendees to be inspired by them.

“Build a Woman events have grown in the past two years and we are excited about the response we are getting from both men and women.

“We are expecting 500 attendees this year and looking at the rate that the tickers are going, we are very confident that it would happen.”

The theme for the event is champagne with a touch of gold and the event will begin at 1pm and close at 5pm.
