Fire Department teaches about fire safety in Standerton

When Mr Lucky Tsotetsi of the department asked them if they knew what a fire extinguisher was, the the little ones gave answers such as ‘my daddy rides a bike’ and ‘my daddy drives a BMW’.

The Lekwa Fire Department took time to teach the young ones at Little Attitudes Pre-school on 27 July about the dangers of fire.

The toddlers got the event off with a rendition of the national anthem as a surprise for its visitor.

Mr Jandré Kasselman from Kasselman Security Services advised the kids to stay away from criminal activities.

He also gave them numbers to call in case of emergencies.
