KINROSS – A fire swept through the stock of Lounics near the water reservoirs this afternoon, 12 October.
Lounics produces wooden pallets, skids and crates.
The work yard is near the Eskom Substation at the intersection between Trichardt and Kinross an Secunda and Matla.
Wood shavings that caught fire were spread by strong winds.
