Secunda community create awareness for 16 Days of Activism against abuse of women and children

Aim of Dignity March is to create awareness and support victims

SECUNDA – Famsa’s Dignity Walk to support and create awareness for abused victims, took place on Saturday, 1 December.

Members of the CPF, police, the Thuthuzela Care Centre, the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offence (FCS) unit of the police, Sasol and the community took part in the march to celebrate 16 Days of Activism that began on 24 November and will last until 10 December.

Sasol was one of the main sponsors for the day.

Famsa’s offices will close on 14 December and re-open again on 6 January next year.

Those interested can still donate towards Famsa’s Dignity Box project which is ongoing.
