Performers shake it up at dance festival in eMbalenhle

Emba Squad Art and Entertainment hosted the Uthando Lwe Arts Dance Festival on May 23 at the eMbalenhle Sasol Club.

A vibrant community event dedicated to celebrating young talent, culture, creativity, and artistic expression.

The festival brought together various dance groups and performers who showcased different dance styles, including pantsula, traditional dance, gumboots, hip hop and many more.

According to Emba Squad Art and Entertainment, the event aimed to uplift and empower young people through the arts while creating a positive platform for local talent to shine.

The organisers said the festival also encouraged unity, cultural pride and youth development within the community through music and dance performances.
