Sasol shows their Secunda game camps to media

The presentation covers species in camps as well as large serval population

SECUNDA – Reporters from local publications and radio stations were treated to a drive through their game camp and a lunch on Friday, 7 December.

The activities began with a presentation on the biodiversity of the game camp around the Sasol plant, the variety of animals in the camps and the scientific phenomenon of a large number of serval cats recorded in this area.

The serval study made international scientific publications two years ago.

Among the animals seen on the drive, were two white rhino, zebra and sable antelope.

Ms Rethabile Ndjibu, Sasol Senior Manager: Corporate Communications, Events and Branding, said they are looking at the possibility of taking learners into the game camp in the future.
