
KINROSS – A 43-year-old man was arrested in Leandra on Sunday evening, 13 January for shooting his wife.
The man allegedly shot his wife seven times on Saturday, 12 January at their home in Marikana.
The perpetrator then fled to Leandra.
It is alleged that the wife moved out of the couples Afghanistan-home prior to the shooting and was living in Leandra at the time of her demise.
The perpetrator was found in possession of a firearm when he was arrested. The gun sent to ballistics to test if the weapon had been used in the murder.
Det. Botha at the Kinross Police station and his team are currently investigating the murder.
He thanked the community for their assistance thus far.
