eMBALENHLE – An Ethiopian shop owner was shot and killed in a business robbery on Saturday, 6 April.
It is alleged that he was with a shop assistant when four men entered the shop and fired shots.
The shop owner was shot in the back of his shoulder.
It is still unclear what was stolen.
The suspects fled the scene.
The police are investigating a case of murder and robbery.
Another business robbery occurred in Extension 18 at about 6.30pm on the same day.
The shop owner was inside the shop when two armed men entered the shop and instructed him to lie down.
The suspect stole airtime and cigarettes to the value of R21 000.
