BETHAL – The Bethal Police Station management thanked the community for joining hands with the police in the fight against crime.
Police said the community participation in the fight against crime yielded positive results as most suspects are being arrested for various crimes.
In a recent incident, the community apprehended a burglary suspect and handed him over to the police.
The police commended the community for great work and thanked them for not taking the law into their own hands.
Const Thomas Mogadime, police spokesman, said the Community Policing Forum (CPF) continues to intensify safety patrols in town to create a safer environment for everyone in the area.
“The partnership we have with the CPF plays a vital role in the safety of the community. We really appreciate the working relationship we have.”
