SECUNDA – Robbers who tried to hold up Tops Liquor Store at Five Star Spar in Secunda this afternoon, 3 August, were apprehended soon after.
According to Roman Alarms, their client allerted the security company about suspects at the bottle store.
“Our reaction team arrived on the scene and, along with staff, apprehended two of the suspects.”
A third suspect sped from the scene towards the N17 highway in a white VW Polo.
“The Polo was then involved in an accident,” Roman Alarns explained.
They thanked the police for their help in arresting the suspects.
“Theft, robberies, armed robberies and burglaries are escalating in our area. Please use your alarm and panic systems at all times.”
