KINROSS – An illegal .303 hunting rifle and a gas pistol were found in a house in Ext 25, Kinross, last night, 7 August.
According to Sgt Jaco Nagel, spokesman for the Kinross Police, their officers along with the Secunda K9 unit, the Secunda Flying Squad and Roman Alarms Tactical Response Unit acted on information received about illegal firearms in Ext 25, Kinross.
The .303 hunting rifle with one round were found in one of the rooms, but no one has yet been arrested.
The gas pistol also found in the house, has been linked to an armed robbery in Kinross in July.
The robbery suspect is still at large.
