UPDATE – Child transported to Sunshine Clinic after N11 crash

The accident occurred about 20km out on the Hendrina Road.

UPDATE: 13 August 9.20pm

Two adults and one child were declared dead on the scene, while two children were transported by Ermelo Provincial Ambulances to the hospital.

One child died en route to the hospital.

The other child was taken to Ermelo Provincial Hospital with serious injures and transferred to Sunshine Clinic.

An accident between a car and truck on the N11 Hendrina Road claimed the lives of two adults and two children.

One child was taken to the hospital with serious injuries by Ermelo Provincial Ambulance Services.

Ermelo Police, ER 24, Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue, van Wettens, forensics as well as the Traffic Department were on the scene.

The accident occurred about 20km out on the Hendrina Road.

The road was closed for about two hours before one lane was opened for traffic.
