Residents are being encouraged to answer the call and donate blood during an upcoming South African National Blood Service (SANBS) blood drive in Secunda.

The blood donation drive will take place tomorrow, October 8, at RE/MAX Homefinders, 8 Charles Cilliers Street, Secunda, from 10:00 to 18:00.

Residents are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and give the gift of life, with one blood donation potentially helping to save up to three lives.

Bring along friends and colleagues and make a difference by donating blood.

Donors will also receive a snack after donating, along with the satisfaction of knowing that their contribution could help someone in need.

The campaign carries a light-hearted message: “Your blood type has been trying to reach you,” reminding residents not to let the call for blood donations go to voicemail.

Donate blood. Save lives. Be the reason someone gets a second chance.
