23 Passengers injured when truck and bus collide at eMba

The provincial emergency services, Langamed South Ambulance Services and Netcare 911 ambulances transported 23 patients, of which four sustained serious injuries, to hospital.

eMBALENHLE – Passengers of a Megabus were injured when a truck rammed into the bus at the Charlie 3 turnoff from the R546 early this morning, 29 August.

The truck allegedly skipped the stop street and crashed into the bus at about 5.50am. The truck driver ran away after the accident.

The provincial emergency services, Langamed South Ambulance Services and Netcare 911 ambulances transported 23 patients, of which four sustained serious injuries, to hospital.

The police, the fire brigade and Jelani Security were also on the scene.
