SECUNDA – Local police confirmed that an armed robbery took place today, 26 November at about 9am at Exact store.

Allegedlly two males, one armed with a firearm, came into the shop immediately after the shop opened.

The employees were still busy with their morning meeting.

One of the suspects told them to calm down and keep quiet.

Three other males also made their way into the store.

The employees were instructed to move to the back where they were tied up with cable ties.

They fled the scene with a big amount of cash as well as 147 cell phones to the value of R441 000.

The police do not have information about the vehicle they fled in.

No arrests have been made.
