WATCH: MEC supports bereaved families
She visited the families who lost their loved ones in a tragic accident on Sunday, 19 January.
TRICHARDT – Ms Gabisile Shabalala, Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, told the bereaved families that the motorist whose car ran over people have been arrested.
She said police investigations continues.

She was accompanied by Ms Thandi Ngxonono, executive mayor and Mr Nhlanipho Zuma, speaker of the council.
It is alleged that the motorist lost control over the vehicle and run over locals who were playing soccer in the area.
Seven died on scene and two are fighting for their lives in hospital.
