EVANDER – Mr Mali Masango (39) appeared in the Evander Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 14 January on charges of rape.
The court was packed as Mr Masango made his way into dock.
He allegedly raped three boys aged six, nine and 10 in Kinross last year.
One of the boys allegedly told his mother what had happened and she went to the police station to open a case.
The community was upset and protested outside the court on Tuesday.
Ms Flora Maboa-Boltman, former executive mayor of Govan Mbeki Municipality was among the people who supported the parents of the boys and protested.
“We want him to rot in jail,” said one of the protesters.
The case was postponed to Wednesday, 12 February.
