Two for Joy makes a difference in learners’ lives
Their fundraising events serve to pay for the expenditure.
The Two for Joy Club handed over school uniforms and school shoes to learners at Madi Combined School on Friday, 7 February.
The club has been in existence since 1995 and under the chairmanship of Mr Sipho Mkwanazi, the club has been able to help learners in need.
Their fundraising events serve to pay for the expenditure. Madi Combined School was decided on since the school offered their premises for the club’s monthly meetings.
Two For Joy will hold a soul-music-session at the Standerton Town Hall on 15 February and tickets are R150 per person, but will cost R200 at the door.
“We want to thank the community for their support in our initiatives to better it,” Mr Mkwanazi said.
According to him, the idea is to support these learners till Grade 12.
The principal of the school, Ms Nokuthula Nkabinde, thanked Two for Joy for their contribution.
