Help Leandra police find relatives of 2 unclaimed bodies

LEANDRA – The police here need help to locate the families of two people who died in separate incidents in the Leandra area last year.

The body of Mr Eliot Zita was found in Tokka Grobler Street in Leandra in October last year. He died of natural causes and the police need to locate his family.

Mr Zita appeared to have been a vagrant and the police could only identify him from his fingerprints.

The available address, House 314 Lebohang, is incorrect.

The case number is Cas 65/10/19.

The other unclaimed body in the police morgue is that of a black woman who was run over on the N17 highway near the Leandra toll gates.

She was allegedly hitching a ride, but was run over by a truck.

The woman wore dark clothes at the time.
