Housebreaking in Standerton made Kasselman Security Services (KSS) alert to regular testing of alarm systems.
Tamarisk Street in Florapark was targeted on 17 February between 3am and 4am.
A LG 51cm flatscreen television and JVC-sound system were stolen.
KSS requested anyone with CCTV-footage in the area to contact them at 017 200 1407 or 083 268 2446.
The following morning, three incidents of housebreaking were reported.
Hartebees, Impala and Waterbok Streets in Kosmospark were broken into.
