Covid-19: Highveld Ridge SPCA postpones high tea

"The staff and committee of the SPCA also faced a lot of challenges during this time of lockdown, but we take it on a day-by-day basis," said Ms Chanelle Oosthuizen.

HIGHVELD – Due to the national lockdown, the Highveld Ridge SPCA has decided to postpone their Ladies High Tea planned for 9 May.

The SPCA’s event team still has to decide on a new date for the event once the lockdown is lifted.

They will also have to consider which date will suit their guest speaker, Ms Ansie Fourie, and the Fortis Hotel in Evander.

“The staff and committee of the SPCA also faced a lot of challenges during this time of lockdown, but we take it on a day-by-day basis,” said Ms Chanelle Oosthuizen.

“Without the community’s tremendous support, the SPCA would not have been able to face all our challenges.”
