Person killed in armed robbery at Lifestyle Centre in Secunda

SECUNDA – A man was shot dead during an apparent armed robbery at a new pizza outlet at the Lifestyle Centre in Ext 22, Secunda tonight, 20 May.

Although the police have not yet given out any information, it appears that the crime took place at about 6pm.

Residents in the area claimed on social media to have heard gunshots.

A WhatsApp voice note in which a police officer asked the public to stay away from the crime scene and to look out for the suspects who were dressed in leather jackets and masks, were also sent out.

The police, security companies and emergency personnel are on the scene.
