Bethal CPF and AfriForum launch clean-up project

Bethal CPF chairman thanks community and others for support

BETHAL – Several businesses, organisations and the community of Bethal took hands to remove the refuse from houses after Govan Mbeki Municipality failed to do so for the past few weeks.

The Bethal community clean-up project took place on Saturday, 4 July.

The Bethal Community Policing Forum (CPF) and Bethal AfriForum initiated this project and helped to provide trucks and bakkies with trailers.

They drove through the streets of Bethal and hooted so that residents knew it was time to take their refuse bags outside to be collected.

The other companies involved in this initiative were Jedd Civils, Midnight Service Station, Craukamp Afslaers, Chabo Joubert, Paulse Rommel Trommel and White House Paints.

Mr Jaap Pretorius, chairman of Bethal CPF, thanked the community and everyone involved in supporting this initiative.
