The national dance stage awaits a group of Evander High School learners after their impressive showing at the recent DTMA provincial competition.

The learners, who train at Visionary Dance School (VDS), impressed judges at the provincial event, hosted in Evander from August 28 to 30, and finished as overall winners in the Senior Hip Hop category.

Their provincial success also earned the dancers Mpumalanga colours and a ticket to compete at the DTMA National Dance Competition.

They will now have the chance to test their skills against dancers from across the country when the national competition gets underway at Carnival City from September 17 to 26.
