Motorists do not take misty conditions into account

No injuries were reported in any of the accidents.

All Star Towing Services had their hands full on Friday, 24 July when several accidents took place in the Standerton area.

Motorists were warned early on to take care on Nelson Mandela Drive where a stationary truck without any lights on, was seen on the left-hand side of the road.

An accident took place on the Thuthukani Road at the four-way-stop to Tutuka Power Station and on the New Denmark Road, two accidents also happened.

No injuries were reported in any of the accidents.

The towing services urged drivers to exercise caution in misty conditions, taking into account the following distance between cars, not putting the lights on bright and checking whether the vehicle’s brake lights are working.
