UPDATE – Wesselton Police Station will resume services earlier than expected after Covid case

The Community Service centre will be operated from Ermelo Police Station.


UPDATE: 4 December – 4.10pm

New information obtained from Capt Carla Prinsloo, spokesman for the Ermelo Police Station, indicate that Wesselton Police Station will resume services tonight, 4 December, at 6pm.

This comes after a member at the police station tested positive and the station was said to be closed until 6 December.


4 December – 12.22pm

Wesselton Police Station has been temporarily closed after a member tested positive for Covid-19.

The Community Service centre will be operated from Ermelo Police Station.

People can contact the satellite station at 10111 or 017 819 2673/4/5/6 for all emergencies and complaints which will be attended to accordingly.

The telephone lines at Wesselton Police Station will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.

However, service delivery will not be hampered.

For any enquiries, the public can contact the station commander, Colonel CS Ngcobo at 082 922 9243.

The building will be decontaminated and service will resume normally on Wednesday, 6 January.

Police management apologised for any inconvenience that may arise from this.
