Chairman of Secunda CPF Sector 1 dies

He will be remembered for his community service and dedication to the CPF and his neighbourhood.

SECUNDA – Mr Edmund Ellmann (64), a well-known resident and chairman of the Community Policing Forum’s Sector 1, died on 10 February.

Mr Ellmann was diagnosed with Covid-19 two weeks prior to his passing.

He will be remembered for his community service and dedication to the CPF and his neighbourhood.

The Secunda CPF and sectors held a memorial moment to pay their last respects to Mr Ellmann in the parking lot of the Pick n Pay family store at Driefontein Centre on Monday night, 15 February.

The members and friends also drove past the Ellmann-home in Bosbok Street their lights flashing.

They hooted as they went by. The chairman of Secunda CPF, Mr Bjon Wright, said Mr Ellmann was someone upon whom he could always depend. He was selfless and cared about his community and his family.

Members from the Secunda Police, the CPF and the various sectors take a moment of silence in remembrance of Mr Edmund Ellmann.
