Liggie netball players will be playing on fresh weatherproof courts at their home grounds in the future.
Ligbron Academy of Technology recently rebuilt the courts.
According to Ms Carina Maree, spokesman of Ligbron, the project began early last year, but took longer than planned due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“This project was driven by Ligbron’s Old Boys and Beautiful Girls (OBBG),” she said.
The new netball courts were officially opened with a small gathering of the sponsors, coaches and residents of the community at the school on 24 March.
Ms Maree thanked all of their sponsors and everyone that was part of this project.
“We are grateful and look forward to this and many more netball seasons to come,” she concluded.
