Local old aged home residents came in numbers to the Lillian Ngoyi Centre in Secunda to receive their first Pfizer vaccine doses on 2 June.

Evander Hospital’s chief executive officer, Ms Madala Ndlovu, said they are vaccinating people with the Pfizer vaccine, which require two doses.

“If a person is vaccinated with the first dose, he or she must return after 14 days to the same place to get a second dose.”

Ms Ndlovu also said their programme will cover the whole municipal area.
