Two vehicles collide – two sustain severe injuries

The women sustained bilateral femur fractures and the child sustained a skull fracture as well as a fractured femur.

A collision took place between two vehicles near Ermelo on the Piet Retief road on recently.

Five occupants from one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries however, two occupants, a women and child from the other vehicle sustained severe injuries.

The women sustained bilateral femur fractures and the child sustained a skull fracture as well as a fractured femur.

They were transported to Ermelo Provincial Hospital for medical attention.

ER24 ambulance service transported the child to Sunshine Hospital in Benoni for further stabilization and the mother was airlifted by Rocket ambulance to the same hospital.
