Report emergencies quicker on new Delta 1 Rescue and Diving Zello channel

The Zello App can be downloaded from the Play Store on Anroid or on the App Store on an iPhone.

Delta 1 Rescue and Diving has a new Zello Channel which is a walkie talkie application that residents can use to report incidents easier and quicker.

The Zello App can be downloaded from the Play Store on Anroid or on the App Store on an iPhone.

According to Mr Andries Lee, a director of Delta 1 Rescue Diving, the channel will be used for the following emergencies:

• Search and rescue

• Search and recovery

• Missing persons

• Commercial diving

• Rescue diving

• Trench rescue or recovery

• Collapse structures

• Fire rescue

• Confined space rescue or recovery

• High angling rescue or recovery

The company is active in the following communities: Ermelo, Secunda, Embalenhle, Evander, Kinross, Leslie, Lebohang, Bethal, Emzinoni, Kriel, Standerton, Delmas and Charl Cilliers.

“Although our focus are typically on these areas , we also assist in the whole of Mpumalanga,” he said.
