Principal of Gert Sibande College dies

Ms Mange was admitted to hospital on June 29 due to medical complications and died the following morning.

The principal of Gert Sibande TVET College, Ms Portia Mange, passed away after a short illness, at the age of 42 on June 30.

The chairman of the college council, Mr Bongani June Mwale, informed the community of her death.

“This is a sad moment as all of us anticipated her return,” Mr Mwale said.

“We never know what is in the mind of God.

“May her soul rest in peace.”

He said information on funeral arrangements will be shared at a later stage.

The council sent their condolences to the family and appealed for calm to afford them privacy to grief and process her death.
